I had this giant bear since 2000. It’s been sitting and collecting dust and has not been cleaned until today.

History of the Giant Knott’s 2000 Bear

What was the history of this bear? Well, about 21 years ago, went to Knott’s Berry Farm and played a ring toss game and won it. It was pure dumb luck that the ring landed over one of the colored Codd-neck bottles.

The last time I’ve been back was over 10 years ago. It was for an AP Physics field trip. I haven’t been back to Knott’s Berry Farm since then.

Cleaning Products Used

For giant stuffed animals, they’re difficult to clean. You can’t just throw them in a washing machine. This bear has been mom’s project. She feels bad for the bear for not being cared for all these years. This is the first time the bear is being cleaned and pampered (as if it were in beauty salon) since we brought it home. She used her dry cleaning products. She was hesitant and did not want to use clothes detergent, because it might ruin the bear’s fur. Mom jokes, calling it a grown adult, as it is 21 year old and needs to be cleaned up and be presentable to be married off.
