12/6/21 It’s Monday. Snoozed alarm clock at 6:45 am and 7:15 am. Woke up at 7:30 am to get ready for work. Not looking forward to the amount of work that needs to be completed. Surprisingly, today was productive. Completed a lot.
Got a free shipping today only promo email, so ordered a legging to go with the top mentioned in the previous blogmas story for Reddit Secret Santa giftee. Based off the Amazon wish list, giftee likes sporty clothes. Giftee is a Gen Z, and athleisure is a huge trend among Gen Z shoppers, so hoping giftee likes it. The legging is mostly cotton (so probably soft), and it has stitching detail, which makes it more edgy. There’s mixed reviews. Some people liked it, because the stitching detail and how soft it is, while others don’t like it, claiming it’s sheer or low quality.
Haven’t practiced the violin for a long time. Just practiced today. Why chose the violin? After watching TwoSet Violin, felt inspired and got a violin from Amazon mid-April. Came un-assembled, so had to learn how to string and tune by watching videos online. Used an app called PanoTuner to help tune the violin. Played the violin for a few years way back when was in elementary school. Been re-learning and playing on the new violin (old violin is too small) on an off and posting on Instagram at the_amateur_violinist since April 2021. Can’t seem to get the a and e strings in tune, so been adjusting fingering. When began, relied on fingering, but after a month or so been sight reading music sheets on musescore, which makes playing less a chore.
Still trying to get used to how to navigate medium platform.
