If you haven’t already read chapter 1 yet, here’s the link to chapter 1.

Before I could fully open the book to the first page, a buzz came from my table. It was my cell phone. I closed the book and walked towards where my cell phone was to pick it up. It was a text from Allison. Allison was my neighbor from across the street. She was one of my few friends I made since I moved here after the 1st grade.

Allison: Hey! What r u doing?

Me: Not much. Just cleaning up my room.

Allison: I’m bored. :( Wanna do something?

Me: Sure. What do you have in mind?

I rolled my eyes. Knowing Allison, she probably had some wild activity planned.

Allison: My brother’s friend is having a senior HS graduation party tonight. Let’s go! :)

Me: I don’t know.

I didn’t feel right crashing a party when Allison and I were not part of the Class of 2013.
