Greed and Envy

After spending a half an hour in the parking lot, we finally found a parking spot. Stepping out of the car, I could instantly feel the sun’s heat rays.
“Here,” Allison said as she handed me a wide brim white hat she took from her car’s backseat.
“Thanks,” I said.
“No problem!”
Because the first two rows were mostly filled with food, Allison and I skipped them and started with third row. Allison’s eyes widened and stopped walking at the first table on the right of the third row.
“This is so cool,” Allison said as held the green band ring. She put it on her ring finger of her right hand, and the ring turned dark blue.
I looked at the chart for dark blue. When I found it, I said, “According to the chart, this means you are happy.” I rolled my eyes. Allison was obviously happy. I didn’t need a mood ring to…
