Growing up, I was always told to say “cheese” to smile for the camera. However, no matter how hard I tried, I always seemed to end up with bad pictures.

This trend started back in the 1900s when disposable cameras were a thing. Whenever the camera flashed, I would almost always blink, and this would not be known until my parents got the film developed.
