I was lying on the floor, and I got up on my feet.

When the little girl heard me got up, her blue eyes lightened up and her face was radiant. “Emily, I am so glad you are awake,” the little girl said.

“Wait, how do you know my name?” I asked.That was odd. We haven’t exchanged names.

“So you don’t know who I am?” The little girl frowned.

“I don’t.” Her eyes watered, and her lips quivered. One by one the teardrops came falling out from her pure blue eyes and streamed down her face.

“I’m sorry,” I said, feeling guilty for being responsible for making the little girl cry.

She uttered loud sounds of sadness, and her tears now fell out of her eyes like rapid waterfalls.

I just sat there in silence not knowing what to do and say. I’ll only make things worst like I did just…
