Passing of Time

I don’t know. The idea of reconnecting with people I haven’t kept in contact with for a while felt weird. We lived separate lives for the past ten years, and we are not the same little children that we used to be.
Looking and turning my thoughts back at the golden key, I still wonder what it opens. I flipped through the pages that followed the drawing of Katy, Ysabel, and me, looking for hints, but and noticed that those pages were all blank. That was not helpful. I sighed in defeat and continued writing.
How have you been?
I found a golden key taped on the first page of my blue book with our initials K.E.Y. written below.
Do you two remember what it opens? I look forward to hearing back from you two!
