Scars, Cracks, and Blemishes

I can see them, and I agreed.
We put perfection on a pedestal, and our automatic reaction is to frown upon any imperfection such as scars, cracks, and blemishes.
We create this image of what is beautiful.
Consequently, this leads us to devalue what’s less than that.
We have to remember that we all have scars or imperfections whether or not they’re visible or not.
In the movie Love Everlasting, Bridger has a scar on his chest from a heart transplant. He could easily conceal it with a shirt. Clover, on the other hand, has a scar on her face, which she attempts to conceal with her hair.
