Sick and Using the Same Home Remedies for a Clogged Toilet

Yes, you read that right.

A toilet gets clogged. What I do? I searched online and watched YouTube videos on how to unclog a toilet without a plunger.

What do I need? Hot water, vinegar and baking soda, and dish soap.

This morning I felt nauseous. I tried to eat breakfast, but I couldn’t. The smell of food made feel nauseous. The problem was I couldn’t throw up, so I was stuck with the bad feeling of nausea. I think it might’ve been staying up last night feeling stressed — stressing about what I should spend with my $10 Kohl’s cash. I know it’s silly.

Mom gave me lots of warm diluted apple cider vinegar and warm fluids with lemon/ginger to keep me hydrated and relieve the nausea. Just like a clogged toilet, it needs lots of warm fluid and vinegar (minus the baking soda and dish soap) to get rid of what’s unwanted.

I’m not saying these home remedies is the solution to every ailment. This was what worked for me today for my nausea. Your nausea or ailment might be worse and require over the counter or prescription medications.

You can speak to your pharmacist to learn more about the over the counter options. If your pharmacist refers you or if your ailment persist, you will probably need to see your primary care provider for prescription medications.

If you read this far, thank you for reading! Have you tried any home remedies when you weren’t feeling well?
