After Allison entered the house, we headed to my room. I explained to her that Caleb was just some guy I met when she abandoned me at the dance floor. After I finished, I glared at her.

Feeling guilty, Allison said, “Sorry!” She then explained, “I noticed that someone had helped you up, so I thought it was okay that I left because I really needed to use the restroom.”

“You should have said something!” I said. “After you left, I didn’t want to stand there alone, so I went outside and talked with Caleb.”

“Sorry! At least you did not have to spend the rest of the night in the house dancing right?” Allison paused for a moment hoping I forgave her. When I didn’t say anything, she had a mischievous grin and added, “Plus you got to meet Caleb.”
