I’ve been playing Farmville 3 and realized we can learn some valuable lessons about time and money from this game.

Time and money is limited. Spend them wisely. Decide what’s more important.

Is it more important to spend money to build a home for my farm animals or spend it on additional fields and build production buildings that will allow me to fulfill more orders and complete them quicker?

At one point, I decided the latter and had a lot of homeless farm animals. Although it pains me too see all these homeless animals walking around, more completed orders equals more money.

The homeless status of these farm animals is temporary. Once the two like farm animals’ offspring grows up, the parents are sold and leave home. There will be a vacant spot where a homeless farm animal could now occupy.

More time spent does not necessarily mean more money. Therefore, be efficient.

Certain crops or products take longer to produce. As a result, certain orders take longer to fulfill. However, sometimes the compensation is low despite the time it takes to fulfill the order. I have to think if I can fulfill part of one order while simultaneously working on fulling another order.
