The beauty of words is that it is like the different paint colors on a palette. There are so many to choose from. Some words are darker or harsher than others. When certain words are paired and mesh well, they can create beautiful art.

Growing up, we first learned the alphabet and then how to use the alphabet to to spell words. We later learned the basics on how to write sentences, paragraphs, and then essays.

Writing is not like math where there is a formula, and we can add, subtract, or multiply and get a definite answer.

Sure, there’s structure in writing like spelling and grammar and how to organize an essay.

However, there’s no one way to put words together. We can convey or attempt to convey the same thing in so many ways.

When we combine words to make sentences, paragraphs, or essays, we are in essence artists trying to convey what we’re thinking or envisioning.
