Dear Catherine,

If you’re reading this, I’m writing to you on January 1, 2023.

2022 flew by. What a year! It feels like yesterday when I was writing my 2021 self-reflection.

Prices has gone up. It was not just the Dollar Tree. You learned it’s a challenge to eat healthy and stay within a $10 grocery budget per week. You continue to save money where you can through coupons. Due to “shrinkflation,” you paid closer attention to package size.

You also paid close attention to what you use such as the label of the toothpaste box.

However, you took a chance and made a couple of online purchases because of the price tag. You learned after the fact it was too good to be true. There is a catch such as the item being defected or not being able to be updated.

You still have been eating a lot of plant-based foods. Your favorites are the Beyond Orange Chicken and Beyond Steak.

Your stomach has been very sensitive, so you went on the BRAT diet multiple times this year.
